Opening Round SuperSeries at Kirkistown 28 April
European Formula Ford Superseries

A new European Formula Ford era will start at Kirkistown, Northern Ireland, on 28 April with the opening round of the brand new SuperSeries.
Introduced for the 2012 season by James Beckett Motorsport and MSVR, the SuperSeries aims to unite Europe's finest Formula Ford 1600 racers for four races at some of the sport's most-loved circuits, including Brands Hatch GP and Monza.
For many years drivers from Northern Ireland and Ireland have been right at the front of FF1600 action, and so the SuperSeries' visit to Kirkistown offers a golden opportunity for racers to take on Europe's finest in their own back garden.
Series creator, James Beckett, says, "The SuperSeries has created much excitement within Formula Ford and for the first time in along time, events have been organised that will allow FF1600 drivers to compete in high-profile races across Europe."
Action at the Kirkistown Circuit is well-known for being fast and furious, according to Beckett, "Formula Ford is well-loved at Kirkistown. The 500 Motor Racing Club of Ireland organise one of the finest FF1600 championships at the track and their 2012 season started in fantastic fashion just a few days ago. Lap records were broken and the pace was superb. Add a number of new SuperSeries competitors to Kirkistown and FF1600 is set for a great spectacle. I can't wait myself. I am sure the SuperSeries will not disappoint."
Drivers interested in joining the SuperSeries for 2012 should contact series co-ordinator James Beckett on 07764 177125 or email beckettje@aol.com.
